If you missed the great tremors of the e-commerce market, specifically in China and the US, the Trump Administration has decided to pull out of the Universal Postal Union (UPU). Read more here.
So what does this mean for the rest of the world? For the most part, nothing. What is of concerns is if this sets precedence for other countries that are in the postal agreement. Rather, you will just observe a shift in operations as the e-commerce merchants try to bypass this inconvenience. That being said, if you're within the region of Asia, business is as usual! If you're in the United States or doing business there, you'll have about another year before anything is set in stone!
